Back to previous page Joys of Owning a Boat posted by Olan WestPeople always ask why it’s so expensive to go Charter Fishing. Here is one of the main reasons why. What started out as a little smoke became a lot of smoke from the exhaust! I was hoping it would be a simple fix but it happened to be a much bigger problem than I had anticipated. After moving all the couches, tearing up the carpet to expose the engine, and inspecting what was wrong the conclusion was to rebuild the engine. I was hoping for a speedy recovery but there is never such a thing as an easy fix. One little thing such as a nut coming lose and working off the back of the cam caused all the problems. The parts are on order and hopefully we’ll have her back up and running by next week. I’ll keep you posted on her progress.  |
