Around the bridges we use in-line trolling leads in different weights according to the amount of current we have that day. Small bucktail,storms rigged in tandem and also smaller swimming plugs or rattle traps. Out in the sound under birds jigging works well and the same trolling spreads will produce out there. Work the up-current side of the bridge,prepare for tackle losses but that's where the stripes will be.
