As you can see, this fish is wrapped up in the leader. We released it but had to leave the hook in the jaw and just cut the leader off. We got our lucky lure back first. The fish was in good nick. The past few days have been slow here in La Gomera. Jason had a shot at the 6 lb. record for women with Ms. Gary Carter on the rod, but fish through the hook just before mate got the leader. Couple of other fish seen. Will pick up again soon.  |
