Back to previous page10-20 report Mixed bag posted by Troy Crane Mike Able and his crew returned to fish with us today. Conditions had been poor the previous couple of days so we didn't know what to expect as we headed out. There was some swell from the day before so we tried a couple of nearshore spots as we waited for the conditions to improve, looking for some Triggers and came up with a few nice Sea Bass. We headed off the beach later in the morning and tried some deep dropping, conditions were perfect and we hooked up as soon as we hit the bottom catching a nice limit of Tilefish. With a nice catch in the box including a lost Gaffer, we put out the trolling rigs hoping to find a King or two. The water was a bit cool but held plenty of bait and life. We found the Albecore rolling and busting on the top and caught plenty of them as we headed back to the beach.
