 The marlin are still here posted by Capt. Tom at on 8/27/2009 We have really been blessed with the marlin this year. Last week we took out 3 kids and they all caught their first billfish-that's pretty cool. The swell from the hurricane got us last weekend but the first of the week saw some fantastic fishing. We were not booked so we didn't go but several boats saw double digit releases. We did make it out on Wednesday and luck was just not on our side. We had 9 bites but only caught 2. We saw a lot more than that but they never would bite. I hope Danny doesn't mess up the fishing for us-we'll get blown out again for Saturday but hopefully we can get back out on Sunday. Lots of open days-give us a call. |
