Sorry I missed the report yesterday but I was up at 2:30 am and was in the bead by 8:39 pm. I needed some sleep! Had John & Brian again yesterday and I think they were as tired as I was from the day before. Think we had about a 30 fish day. Probably should have been a 60+ fish day. we missed a lot of fish. Today was 2, half days for me. Had Clark, he is a good caster, for the AM trip and we were on the water @ 6 AM to see if we could get a top water bite going. Most of the fish were still sleeping. Slow bite but we scraped out a 25 fish morning and went to lunch. Jack & Jim were on the boat for the afternoon and that starts out slow but the fish were saving up their energy for the evening spawn. By 6:30 IT WAS ON & ON & ON. Top water, sinking lines, jigs, it did not matter but top water was off the charts for the last hour &1/2. If you throw it they eat it! I forgot how many we caught this PM, kind of lost count, But my hands hurt from all the sore lips those guys did. Tomorrow AM (5:30) should be off the charts again.
