RE: Kurt posted by Fish Militia

I don't think the recs should be allowed to have a carry over. For subtle argument's sake..In NC the comms are told what days they can fish, where, how. The rules change almost by the "open day" it seems like, while the recs can go out there any given day and have the oppurtunity to take 2 fish in open season.

Now, before someone tries to hit me with the ole" They can kill more in one day then us routine"--I'll say this..

They definitely could take out a huge # in one day..but no more then the recs.

I've seen 500 fish leave the beach in one given area, in a 10 hour day, when the fish were blitzing in year's past. Only , to hear that those fish were hit like that in over a dozen areas along the OBX that day. Combine that with the Charter fleets and ungodly amounts of local and visiting rec boaters and during the good years ---THOUSANDS of fish a DAY were taken by recs from Ocacroke to the state line...

These groups can be compared at times to the Audubon, etc. They continually take from one group to give back only to themselves. These orgs worked hard to impose a lot of wreck fishing laws on the comms in the past. Now, the recreational, sea bass fishery has taken a hit and all these orgs are screaming mad..just as one example..Do unto others, just don't do unto me..

KARMA is a rightous B!#@$
