Special interest groups destroy the foundation of America, you get what you work for and an individual voice matters. Neither of these ideals are in line with any special interest group that I am aware of, they bully individuals and use their resources to make decisions FOR the American people that should be given the chance to VOTE to have their voice heard. No matter how pretty the facade any group of people that try to push their view onto others for the sake of personal gain is evil. I think of it this way, a club is a group of members that get together to share something they enjoy, a special interest group is the group that wants to take away that right for the sake of profit, power or prestige. I am sure at some point each of us looked up to the Audubon Society, I know I did as a child, but as we mature and realize the politics and greed that make up their core foundation we lose that innocence and become somewhat cynical. |
