I letr it stand as his view, but not all the content is that of FRank and Fran's. Please invision the following when the "Draft" plan comes out between now and December 31. 1. Ramp 27-Ramp 30 Closed year round 2. 2 spits closed and portions of others year round.(Spits are Oregon Inlet, Cape Point Hatteras Inlet, North end of Ocracoke and South end of Ocrtacoke) 3. Sections of south beach between Cape Point and Ramp 49 closed year round(1-3 miles) 4. You will pay a minimum of 15 bucks a day or 35 bucks a year per vehicle to go on what's left. 5. The above does not include on the ground closures where the birds flirt, court, do the dirty and nest and where the turtles nest. 6. Nighttime closures will be as bad or worse than now. I hope my sight is poor, but prepare for this or worse. What are you willing to do to make sure if this or worse happens to change it? These closures will be done in the name of "science " but the science they are using is has not had a hard look document review and stinks of opinion and no science at all. Can you accept this vision or are you ready to stand up to these special interest groups and their invasion of our government and its mismanagement of what we love. |
