Well Guys & Gals....in a never ending attempt to be where the fishing is good we are going up to SOLOMON'S ISLAND,MARYLAND for the "TROPHY STRIPER SEASON" in November . Here is a website that you can go to to familiarize yourself with the area http://www.solomonsmaryland.com/ This is a very nice area with nice motels and numerous bars and resturants within walking distance to the boat. Fishing out of Solomon Island we will not be faced with alot of the things that we are out of Rudee Inet....like the season is open wherever you go,no 3 mile line,no fish cops chasing us around,calm fishing conditions,short run to the fishing grounds. The Striper limit here is 2 fish per person....1 fish under 28" and 1 fish over 28". The way I am structuring this trip is like this.I'm breaking up an all day trip into 2 1/2 days. $500 per 1/2 day = $500 X 2 = $1000 versus $1150 for an all day. I can afford to lower the price doing this trip fore we do not have to spend all day riding all over the Ocean You book 2 1/2 day trips.....1 trip being the afternoon,the next trip is the following morning. By breaking it up like this it allows you the following advantages....#1 You drive up in the morning,#2 It allows you to keep 2 limits of Stripers.This trip would be a good trip for the kids and for the ladies. Also be it noted that I will not be going back to Rudee Inlet ,Va in Dec. till the fish stop biting up here,....that would be stupid.So if ya have a Dec. trip and I tell ya that ya need to be up at Solomon's Island I would HIGHLY recommend that you listen to me.
