********The Big Red Drum are Getting Their Asses Busted In Oriental..RIGHT NOW updated 9:00pm 8/30********* Just spoke with Capt. George Beckwith over in Oriental and they are busting the Big Red Drums asses as we speak......I'm talking double digit 1/2 days and he expects it to do nothing but get better. As it stands right now I will be leaving Hatteras on Sept.9 "bright and early" and returning on Sept. 27 ...due to the lack of trips there is no way I can stay all month hoping and waiting for a trip. As of right now these are the dates that are open while there. Sept.10am,12,15,21,22,23(full moon),24 am,26.If someone wants to book on either end of these dates I will stay later or arrive sooner....but I ain't hanging out days on end all dressed up with nowhere to go.Thank you guys who booked in advance,....it makes it easier on the ole boy!
