 Finally....a nice fish. 11-1-09

Our previous trips had been loaded with all the small schoolie size fish a man could want but today proved ALOT tougher. On Fridays trip it was 80 degrees, warm and sunny BUT for this trip it was a high of 55, cold and rainy and blowing NE about 30. Pretty big change in the weather for a 12 hour period and it had things assed up. The schoolie size fish didnt make up this morning so we went to the deep and put the big stuff out and had our first decent fish of the season within 30 minutes of trolling. A nice 38 incher to officially kick off the striper season. Things are improving daily now with this cooler weather filtering in this week. Thanks Ron and the gang. We enjoyed having you as always. Least it was calm in the river!
