 One last sea bass run...10-3-09 posted by Capt Jeff Adams at on 10/7/2009 Well a big thanks to the fine folks at NOAA and the ASMFC and the other morons who decided to shut down the sea bass fishery for 180 days. You guys need to pull you head out of your asses. You shut down the entire sea bass fishery from Hatteras North because two states (New jersey and Massachusetts) had such phenomenal fishing this year that they were allowed to go 200% over the alloted recreation quota? Idiots! Meanwhile we got in one more trip before The 5th and it was a good one. We quickly limited out on a nice class of fish and had some great action on the trigger fish as well. Thanks Jack and crew. We enjoyed having you!  |
