 Amberjack fishing a little tougher..
posted by Capt Jeff Adams at on 9/25/2009

A ton of NE winds made the water at the South tower turn to an ugly green color and the fish were assed up on this trip. They marked down closer to the bottom and were very reluctant to bite. We hooked quite a few that broke off after getting in the tower but we managed to catch a few and saved a couple for the table. Went trolling for a bit and that was slow going with a handful of bites, lost a couple of gaffer dolphin and caught a few false albacore. Had to beat our way back home in a nasty North wind for 60 miles....thats how it goes sometimes.
Thanks gang for hanging in there and making the best out of it.
